So in typical Julie style I got myself into a little bit of innocent trouble as I was in Hamburg. You see my friend Yulia had heard that there is this street in the Reeperbahn where there are lots of brothels and prostitutes in street windows and because
of this women is not allowed. Herbert Strasse as it is called is today shielded and closed off. Well that wasn't all... She had also heard that prostitutes would throw shit on women if they walked there. This
link here suggest there are other things that are thrown. Regardless we never found out, however we found out that these prostitutes were really aggressive. One threatened to get her pimp to come get me because I was trying to take a picture of the gate sign. No pimp came and we walked away safely and yes... a story richer.
