Just thought I would publish a quick posing tutorial for you guys. This is a picture my mom took when she was visiting me in Cairns, Australia, last year.
We was going through some tips and tricks with her in regards to photographing people. She is a great photographer but she prefers street photography and landscape to this type of "staged" photographs. And yes, I was the teacher and the model... It probably would have been better if we had a proper model, but on a lazy, rainy afternoon, well, you do with what you have...
She did a fantastic job, but here is a few things that would have made the picture more flattering.
