Since a little girl I have always found beauty in things that others may look at as, well, garbage... I used to go to a local tip and find little treasures. Unsurprisingly, my parents didn't approve. Perhaps this is why my dad only told me about this antiques auction the day AFTER it had happened.
And curious as ever, I went onto their website to see if I had missed something (or hoping that I hadn't) but now I am sad to say that I did because I saw the perfect couch - ok, it wasn't perfect, but with a couple of layers of white high gloss paint, it would have been PERFECT!!!

Unfortunately the couch wasn't the only thing I fell in love with. There was this cute little old telephone bench and some fun funky coloured chairs that would be totally awesome with a little bit of DIY action...
And they were a steal! :(
