Choosing the right hue when editing pictures

One of the scariest and most difficult jobs you have as a photographer is actually choosing the pictures. You have to try to find out what the person you have photographed will love, not necessarily what you love.
Perfect example is the photos you love compared to which your mom love of you. Well, perhaps your mom is not like mine, but my mom always seem to like the photos of me that I look fat, ugly and tired on! NEVER fails!

So as a photographer I try to, you know, NOT be my mom.  I try to find pictures that I think my clients will love and that sometimes leads to me giving/showing my client pictures that actually have some big faults...

Take this picture for example. It was taken with only natural light. It looked great on the camera screen, but when I got it on my computer it turned out that the area on the shoulder had too much light on it.

So I had to edit it, and change the color a bit to try and compensate.

Here I have done 4 different edits.

I love the black and white but I also like the softness of the colored one, and gosh her eyes stand out in the last two.

But you have to choose one picture to give to the client.

Which one would you choose ?
