Inspirational Quotes
I have been looking for some cool wall art to put up on the walls after I am done painting them.
These are perhaps a bit girly but I love them:
My life motto :
Live simply, dream big. Be grateful, give love. Laugh lots.
Sometimes the girl whos always been there for everyone else, needs someone to be there for her :)
And always love what you do, or change what you do:
And remember, even though it may look easy for some, remember that success usually comes from hard, hard work!
I never dreamed about success, I Worked for it! Estee Lauder

Nothing makes a person more productive than the last minute...

Faded Pastels
Perhaps I was influenced by the minus degrees and the snow but when I was editing these pics I just had to go with the faded look :)www.julievold.com

Getting back to clients....
Its not always easy trying to juggle a busy full time job which requires at least 10 hrs overtime per week, a part time business as a photographer as well as being a wife and mom of a little puppy!
Sometimes days are not long enough, and the nights, well they are not long enough either. SO today I decided to at least send some of the pictures to a client, - even though a few are still outstanding...

Studio Ideas
So its really challenging to decorate a house that is to be doubling as a studio especially when it is an old crooked house. I need to find furniture that will have multiple purposes and can easily be moved and that give the house a welcoming but still professional feel. So I am looking all over the web for ideas.
This is stunning but it is obviously not going to be what my house will be like. But like the couch and LOVE the makeup area.
This is more likely to be a similar set up to what I will be doing with the backdrops hanging on the wall or in the roof of my living room.
And I need to get props - like old suitcases or bowls like the above one.
And a area / method for viewing the images
And an opportunity to change the backdrops :) Need to remember to collect newspapers when I travel!
And I love this small ghost chair from furniture designer house Kartell preferably 2 in adult size and one clear one in childrens size. Tooo bad they are so expensive!
Well I do need ideas ! If you have any good tips send them through! :)

Let love grow!
So every now and then I get this burst of creativity and this day was just a beautiful winter day in the small town of Vigrestad where I grew up. I was photographing my childhood neighbour (and dad's much younger cousin) and his wife. We were in the now tiny forest that when the two of us were kids (we are not that far apart in age) it was large and there was a stream running through it. All us neighbourhood kids used to have a ball playing in it, climbing trees and rocks and building tree huts. I wanted to capture this growth and change by photographing one of the remaining trees, one that is still there despite us getting older and no longer being kids, and despite the rest of the forest being all but disappeared.

Time and date
Until he redesigned it it was really basic and old fashioned. Still, -it got heaps of hits. The website get MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of visitors every day! And apparently since the redesign it has increased visitor numbers heaps and they have received lots of positive feedback!
I'm soooo proud of my hubby! :)

ON the side photography business
I love doing photography, it really is a big passion of mine and I do feel really blessed that people enjoy and like my photographs.Being a busy girl, working a lot for my day job , - some things go to the "I will do that later" folder.
Like updating my website, loading up new images and so on. You see my website is great, its really easy to upload and add more pictures, - all I need to do is add it to the right set in flicker and the website is automatically updated.
Only problem is that the first time I uploaded I was a little bit silly. I uploaded full sized pictures and went over my quota like right away. So to fix it we had to split it up between two accounts.
And yeah I never remember which flicker account to log into, forget the password or whatever. Basically it seems to go into the - too difficult pile.
During the last year here in Norway. Geremy and I had to share computers and this also added to a slow down in my process. I couldn't always follow my workflow or perhaps I was running out of space so I have had to shift pictures around.Excuses, Excuses, Excuses,
Yeah I know.
Anyways, here are some of the pictures I am posting today !
Some are oldies but goodies!!!

Benefits of working from home
So today I am working from home because I need to edit some photos to prepare them for my employers website.
There are many benefits of working from home:

There are many benefits of working from home:
- You can work in your pyjamas
- You have unlimited access to all the food and snacks in your fridge/cupboard ** this could also be a non benefit as the effects will likely make you fast
- You save time going through and from work
- You can do laundry whilst waiting for pictures to export or save
- You get to hang out with your dog
- You can watch TV on your lunch break
- Did I mention snacks?? :)
As I suspect you were wondering about the images,
well here are some examples !!
