Different screen = different pictures

So this whole computers and picture thing is pretty technical and difficult sometimes. My friends Cato and Nina have a screen setting that show up ALL editing that has been done on the picture -whereas on my screen nothing is to be seen!

Simple Solution - well there really is not any - you can embed your color profile that might help a bit but if someone else has a different profile their view is still going to be different.

Take this picture from my last boudoir shoot. Its dark - not originally, but I edited it that way to create a bit of mystery... To give the illusion of looking into a dark room and seeing this beautiful woman.

On my well lit screen with the same color combo as when I edited it - it really looks exactly the way I wanted it -

BUT when I look at it on my work computer which is a bit of a shitty screen - then its a little bit too dark.

So be wary of this you amateur photographers out there -

and when it comes to printing - it depends on the printer and its calibration as to what result you get when you print.

I have printed the same picture 4 times and each time the same file creates a different result just because I use a different provider/printer.

There is calibration software and all sorts of technical things you can do --- but really that stuff is wayyyy to boyish and boring for me -

I just wish it was simpler -

like come one - cant someone figure out a standard or something so we dont have this problem anymore!??
